"You must understand the whole of life, not just one little part of it. That is why you must read, that is why you must look at the skies, that is why you must sing and dance, and write poems and suffer and understand, for all that is life."

The future and past will meet again. And when it happens we will remember our glory of old as well as remember our future glory. Past and present will come together for the betterment of today. It is today or in the Now that is the starting point as well as the ending point.

How can we perpetuate the rights of all living things to share in a world of abundance? How can we love the children of all species - not just our own - for all time? Imagine a world of prosperity & health in the future, and begin designing it right now. What would it mean to become, once again, native to this place, the Earth - the home of all our relations.
This is going to take us all, and it is going to take forever. But then, that’s the point.

William McDonough & Michael Braungart

Would it take the invasion of aliens to prove to humanity the importance of brotherhood or sisterhood? What event will ignite the shift towards thinking of all of humanity as one? The recognition of life and connection through relationships is what motivates our lives. When will we each call this small planet our home and see one another as ourselves? A brother, a sister, a father, a mother.

Carl Sagan- “Consider Again That Pale Blue Dot”

“Countless worlds, numberless moments, an immensity of space and time. And our small planet at this moment here we face a critical branch-point in history. What we do with our world, right now, will propagate down through the centuries and powerfully effect the destiny of our decedents. It is well within our power to destroy our civilization and perhaps our species as well. If we capitulate to superstition or greed or stupidity we can plunge our world into a darkness. But, We are also capable of using our compassion and intelligence, our technology and our wealth to make abundant and meaningful life for every inhabitant of this planet. To enhance enormously our understanding of the universe and to carry us to the stars.”

Lady Gaga has been an idol of mine the past two years who stands for bravery and empowerment. Her words are vulnerable and honest. I believe she is one of the strongest voices we have in the media today who can spark dialogue amongst people .

Lady Gaga on Youth Empowerment and Hitting a Nerve:

“You have to hit the nerve. If you don’t hit the nerve, the volcano can’t erupt; it has to explode. I’m not interested in making luke-warm pop music or luke-warm philanthropic efforts, I’m not interested in just raising money and throwing it against the wall of an organization that I know nothing about. What i want to do is strike your nerve over and over and over again to get you talking; so that you can be a part of this message that will change everything.”
